WEF publishing tool
Research & product design / Feature development
Working in a small team of 3 (myself and 2 developers), our task was to expand the Forum's publishing tool, delivering new areas and work flows to meet business needs.
Approach: 3 two week sprints scoped around a business need. A speedy process of interviews, current tool studies, testing to validate prototypes, then build.
Stakeholder interviews
A series of interviews of business stakeholders and end users
Define
Make sense of the learnings and identify opportunities. Prioritise and scope for design development.
CURRENT Workflow mappings
Showing the details: actors, actions, tools, context, pains and gains.
NEW WORKFLOW mappings
Proposition for a workflow across various actors in the business.
Low-fi Prototypes
A series of prototypes framing various business requirements were tested back to our stakeholders and end users. These were simple low fi flows, for quick turnaround and editing.
Key screen designs
Along side prototype validation, dev worked on the back end whilst I worked up key screens to cover UI specs.
